St John's Wort Tincture
Benefits:
St. John’s Wort is a nervine that is useful for the pain
associated with skin disease. It can be used topically or
internally. It is also useful for cases where anxiety or stress
are contributing factors.
As a nervine, St. John’s Wort is useful for the pain associated
with urinary tract illnesses such as interstitial cystitis.
St. John’s wort is a good antiviral. It also works as an
expectorant and antispasmodic for irritated lungs. One of the
nice things about St. John’s Wort is that it does not enhance
cytokine activity. So it’s useful and safe even in the
dangerous influenza strains.
A tincture or infused oil of the fresh plant is useful topically
for irritated skin or local nerve pain like carpal tunnel
syndrome or sciatica
